DEFINITION
Custom designs are jewelry designed specifically for you or modified from standard designs to meet your specifications. They also include our semi-custom and pre-designed jewelry items where a customer has selected a different gemstone shape(s) or size(s) to be set in their preferred mounting. Our custom jewelry process emphasizes collaboration, allowing you to express your style and vision. Each piece is crafted meticulously, ensuring a final product that reflects your individuality and taste.
DESIGN COST & DESPOSIT
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required for all custom pieces. Upon the design’s approval, this deposit will go towards the final price of the piece. EcoMoissanite provides photorealistic digital renderings for all our custom-designed jewelry. When the design meets your requirements, you will be asked to provide an email stating that you approve the proposed design. This approval signifies your desire for us to produce the design shown.
DESIGN REVISIONS
During the custom process, you will receive two complimentary design revisions and digital renderings. Any additional edits will incur a fee of $50-$100, depending on the extent of the change requested. Significant design changes are subject to additional fees, assessed on a case-by-case basis, and may incur extra design time. Possible additional fees are non-refundable. Their costs shall be presented for approval before proceeding. Please note that design change fees will not be deducted from the price of the final design.
FINAL QUOTE AND PAYMENT
Once you have finalized your design, we will provide a final quote for your custom jewelry piece. A final payment must be made upon acceptance of the quote to secure your order. Please note that, due to fluctuations in material and commodity prices, all quotes are valid for ten (10) business days. After this time, the quote may be subject to revision, and new terms will apply.
TURNAROUND TIME
Custom design orders typically take 3-5 weeks to complete, but this can vary depending on the design’s complexity, the materials’ availability, and our current workload. Once the design is approved, we will provide a detailed timeline for your custom design order. Please let us know if you have a specific deadline; we will do our best to accommodate it.
RIGHT TO CANCEL
EcoMoissanite reserves the right to cancel any custom design order due to intellectual rights abuse or unreasonable demands by the customer. Due to the intensive labor involved in customer design jewelry and the cost of materials, no refunds will be issued for any custom design work up to that point under any circumstances. Both parties must fulfill the contract, meaning that EcoMoissanite will produce your jewelry according to the agreed-upon written specifications, and you must pay the total balance, as agreed.
PRODUCT RETURNS
We do not accept returns for custom and special-order jewelry items. Items thought to be damaged or defective must be returned at the customer’s expense. All returns are subject to inspection by our Quality Assurance team before a refund is processed. We will adequately meet our obligations if the received order is deemed faulty or damaged.
DESIGN RIGHTS
We own full design rights to every jewelry item we produce and its variants. Therefore, all custom pieces are automatically deemed part of EcoMoissanite’s portfolio and may be photographed, shared on our website and social media, and produced more than once.
INTELLECTUAL COMPLIANCE
EcoMoissanite will treat your submissions as confidential. By submitting a design, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to such design and that such design shall not infringe on any intellectual property, proprietary, or other third-party rights. By submitting a design, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless EcoMoissanite and its authorized agents, trustees, directors, officers, executives, and representatives from and against all actions, claims, suits, proceedings, losses, damages, costs, liabilities, including attorneys’ fees, and other expenses which may be suffered, incurred, or paid because of, or arising out of any breach or alleged breach of the above representation and warranty.
